It has been said that parenting is the most difficult job in the world. Contributing factors such as alcohol and/or drug abuse by a parent can skew the entire family dynamic system and the child may act out with a variety of unacceptable behaviors.

This is the time of year where we think about parents because Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day are in the early summer. I don’t do anything special on these days, but I do wonder sometimes just how much those whose parents are alive appreciate what they have.

Parenting is not easy. In the fast paced competitive society we live in, many parents are concerned with their child’s self esteem. Building self confidence in children is important, but can there be a wrong way of going about it?

The energy psychology technique, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), is going directly to students, parents and educators through a new website called School Made Much Easier. The website will feature a library of 2-3 minute videos demonstrating EFT being applied to real issues.
